Our story
2014
Flexbuy originated from the company Demovare, founded in 2014.
Demovare’s mission was to give new life to products from large electronics retailers’ return and surplus inventories. Items that would otherwise collect dust or be discarded.
2015
The founders, Andreas and Martin, participated in the first season of Løvens Hule on DR, where Jesper Buch and Tommy Ahlers invested in Demovare.
After 1.5 years, Andreas and Martin bought back their shares from Jesper and Tommy.
2019
By the end of 2019, Flexbuy was officially launched.
From half a basement space, our then team of 4 employees turned their focus to B2B customers, offering flexible leasing solutions and gross salary schemes.
In 2024, we really gained momentum with our CYOD service, which has also been a major success.
Today
Today, more than 15,000 employees use our platform to purchase their preferred products and subscriptions.
And fortunately, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. More than 9,000 devices have been refurbished and found new homes with private customers.
