2014
The company originally launched under the name Demovare in 2014, focusing on selling refurbished electronics to promote the recycling and reuse of repaired and returned products.
2015
Founders Andreas and Martin appeared in the first season of the Danish version of Shark Tank, where Jesper Buch and Tommy Ahlers invested in Demovare. About a year and a half after their participation, Andreas and Martin successfully bought back the investors’ shares.
2019
In late 2019, Flexbuy was launched, initially catering to both private consumers and businesses. However, due to a significant increase in demand from companies seeking more flexible leasing contracts, the private consumer segment was phased out, allowing Flexbuy to focus exclusively on serving corporate clients.
