At Brand Movers in Copenhagen, employees have high expectations for the equipment provided by the company. Nikolaj Rosenbeck, the company’s CFO, was looking for a new partner because their previous provider of the gross salary scheme did not meet their expectations.
“Our employees wanted a good phone. When I started in the job three years ago, we had Huawei phones, and not many people were willing to carry those around every day. So, we wanted to offer them a good phone as an employee benefit to retain them and also attract new talent,” explains Nikolaj Rosenbeck.
Through a Google search, Nikolaj Rosenbeck found Flexbuy. The flexibility of the previous company was quite low, and it was difficult to add new employees to the old scheme. At Flexbuy, they prioritize being as flexible as possible, which appealed to Nikolaj Rosenbeck.
“We are a company that holds strong core values like integrity and honesty, and it seems that Flexbuy shares those values. I also liked that there was a pricing formula clearly outlined on the website, so it was very transparent what Flexbuy’s margin was. I find that reassuring, as it gives a sense of honesty in the relationship with the company you’re collaborating with,” says Nikolaj Rosenbeck.
After a meeting with Flexbuy, Brand Movers was convinced they wanted to start a collaboration. However, Flexbuy initially did not offer a gross salary scheme until Brand Movers specifically requested it.
“Since it wasn’t a leasing agreement Brand Movers needed, but rather a gross salary scheme, we saw it as a unique opportunity to adjust our business model with a few simple tweaks. It wasn’t a problem for us, and we got it up and running quite quickly,” explains Kasper Jensen, who is in charge of sales at Flexbuy.
Nikolaj Rosenbeck is just glad that it was possible to make it work.
“Basically, it was just about being able to trust what was being said and having transparency in the process. It seemed hopeless that we couldn’t solve the problem we were facing, but we managed to do it, just with Flexbuy,” says Nikolaj Rosenbeck.
