All devices returned to Flexbuy are entrusted to Demovare, which ensures each device is thoroughly refurbished and restored before being sold to a new, satisfied owner.
Our Refurbishment Process
Data Wipe
All returned devices undergo a thorough data wipe to ensure the complete removal of any personal data from the previous owner.
Sorting
After all data has been securely wiped, the devices undergo a grading process. Any devices deemed unsuitable for resale are dismantled and responsibly recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.
Reconditioning
Products eligible for resale undergo a thorough cleaning process, where dust and dirt are removed to restore the device to a condition that closely resembles new.
How it all started
Demovare was founded in 2014 by Andreas Henning and Martin Fristrøm. While working part-time at Bilka, they discovered that many high-quality, functional products—often used as demonstration items or returned by customers—were forgotten in inventory and ultimately discarded. Motivated by a desire to create a more sustainable approach within their workplace, they decided to take action. This led to the creation of Demovare, which participated in the first season of “Løvens Hule” on DR, where entrepreneurs Jesper Buch and Tommy Ahlers made investments in the company.
