If one of your Apple devices needs to be repaired, sold, or returned, it’s important to log out of your Apple ID and disable ‘Find My’.

Since we cannot remove ‘Find My’ or log out of your Apple ID on your behalf, it is important that you take care of this before sending the device to us. Before you begin, make sure to back up the content on your device, as data may be lost. In this brief guide, we will show you how to remove your device from your iCloud account if you don’t have access to the device. Step-by-Step Instructions:

Visit the website https://www.icloud.com/find/.
Log in with your Apple ID.
At the top of the webpage, you’ll see your name. Click here and select “Account Settings.”

Then click on the device you wish to remove.

Click on the “X” next to the device.

Click “Remove.”

The device is now removed from iCloud and will no longer appear under “My Devices.”

The device is now ready to be sent to us.
